Benches can be used indoors and for literally any room of the house. They can enhance the look of your home while being functional. This unique Amada Bench designed by Matthias Pliessnig. He design the piece to direct the sitter to face multiple directions due to the functions of the space this helped to dictate the initial design. In other words, the ebb and flow of the piece is directed by the function of the space. It was also originally designed in Rhinoceros (3d modeling software) with the general geometry of the form and allows me to visualize the concept. Amada is made completely of air-dried responsibly harvested White Oak. | Matthias Pliessnig
