The “Wicker Lamps”, sustainable furniture presented by Chilean Design Group – The Andes House. The designer create this lamps using local raw materials. This furniture is a part of their lighting and furniture line named ‘made in mimbre’. The lamps are made from natural fiber obtained from the salix plant. maintaining its natural color, the fiber strands are braided around a wire frame.

Mint Hotel Interior Design by M+R Interior Architecture

The Mint Hotel Amsterdam is one of the largest hotels in the Netherlands. The Hotel is about 30,000 m2 with 553 rooms, situated next to the Central Station at the Oosterdokseiland.

M+R’s concept for the interior is based on high quality and a businesslike atmosphere. The style is timeless modern and comfortable. The challenge was to create an intimate environment despite a high hotel occupancy, where people can feel relaxed and at home.

Modular Office Furniture

Modular office furniture systems are available in two types. They are panel mounted systems and free standing systems. Panel mounted systems are fixed on wall panels or other bases such as desks, whereas freestanding systems do not require wall panels. They are easier to install and uninstall in case of moving the office. While selecting a furniture system, go through the specifications thoroughly, as certain modules cannot be reconfigured.

Sustainable Shavano Park House by McKinney York Architects

Located in Shavano Park Texas, this sustainable house was designed by Heather McKinney of McKinney York Architects. Connections to the outside were achieved with strategic glazing, the pool, a screened porch, and patios on either side of the house.
