The house was opened to the back, inviting nature to interact with the everyday life of citizens. Accented with simple tones of limestone France, wood detailing, rift-cut oak and teak window, this private home is juxtaposed with the natural greenery of the adjacent ravine. These properties are, basically, the space of two hectares surrounded by a natural wall of pine trees.
Completed within the central site, two-storey house is designed to enhance the views into two pyramidal oaks and catalpa tree in front witha silver maple and Japanese maple in the back. This private residence sculpted space echo understanding of human comfort. Carefully carved into the façade of the window, the array allows natural light inside, while the finish add a touch warm. Utilizing consistent palette of limestone and walnut floors, interiors provide a sophisticated setting for a family residence and flow easily from the front door to the third floor family room with a view to focus on the heavily forested ravine.
