The Batucada dented lamp designed by Brazilian Jahara Studio for ViaLight is a perfect example of a striking contemporary appearance and functionality. Hand-hammered in aluminium, the Batucada Light is available in different bold colours that accentuate the uniqueness of the Brazilian carnival parties they represent. Instruments used in the carnival parties are mostly made out of tins and cans, a side deeply used by the designers to express the unicity and colorfulness of life. The lamps are also reminiscent of the classic industrial metal lamps of the 20th century. They create a feeling of mixed arts in the room while standing tall on their crane-like bodies.
