This black and white Japanese home designed with minimalist and modern style by Kouichi Kimura Architects. The black and white become popular, black exterior creates a great contrast with the almost fully white courtyard and it is continued to the interior design. The architect doesn’t only play with colors but also the intensity of light. Some rooms have large supply of light and some others don’t. It may look uncommon style, but it is definitely modern and unique. Even the bathroom looks very dark with completely black interior except the white tub. This urban home may look sober for some people but for others who appreciate black and white. – Kouichi Kimura Architects
