Vila Castela Residence in Brazil by Anastasia Architects

The Vila Castela Residence sited on 30 degrees sloped site in city of Nova Lima, Brazil. Designed by Anastasia Architects, the house uses dramatic cantilevers to emphasize the extremity of its position.

This project was based on four main concepts: little interference in the site, better use of natural resources, integration to the surroundings, and a generous urban presence. Modern Villa Design in Austria – Villa A

Najjar-Najjar Architects have designed a spectacular Villa situated nearby on the slope of the Poestling Berg, a mountain overlooking Linz the capital of Upper Austria. Summer Retreat in Rio de Janeiro; Laranjeiras Residence

Fernanda Marques Architects & Associates designed Laranjeiras Residence, a beautiful summer retreat in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Outward covered in wood, a device used to protect it from the sea air and make it more familiar-looking amid the green Mata Atlântica. Sustainable Ski House H2o by Hughes Umbanhowar Architects

The Ski House H2o sited near artificial lake in Hobe Hobe Sound, Florida. the design thus engages the lake in multiple ways. This elevated perspective in an otherwise flat surrounding topography provides a view of the 1/2 mile watercourse from end to end.

The house is a simple bar conceptually and literally broken into 3 use defined areas; i.e. guest wing, public/fraternal spaces, master bedroom. A metal roof hovers above these 3 parts to encourage circulation movement from one space to another.
